Job Title: QA Supervisor (3rd Shift)
Location: Aurora, CO
Pay Range: $60-75K
Hours: 10pm-6:30am
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA Supervisor to oversee all quality assurance activities during the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will supervise daily production floor activities, coordinate quality efforts, and lead a team of QA Technicians to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide QA Technicians, ensuring all quality assurance tasks are performed correctly.
Provide leadership in maintaining our food safety and quality management systems, including knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and GMP.
Train new employees on quality protocols and continuous improvement opportunities.
Manage quality-related communication with production teams, addressing any issues related to production schedules.
Conduct internal and third-party audits, participate in inspections, and analyze deficiencies to enhance quality practices.
Support operations during product changes, addressing any quality or food safety concerns.
Maintain inventory of QC/lab supplies and coordinate necessary training for new equipment.
Assume responsibilities of the Quality Manager in their absence and act as a backup when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
BS degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or equivalent experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a Quality Assurance department.
Availability to work weekends and have a flexible schedule as required.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Active participation on the production floor is required.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 45 pounds with assistance if necessary
