QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Follow all company policies and procedures.
2. Perform routine quality checks during manufacturing.
3. Assess the production area for quality and product integrity by performing evaluations and tests for quality according to client, regulatory, and customer requirements.
4. Collect required samples of materials and products and submit them to the appropriate personnel.
5. Perform line clearances ahead of the start of manufacturing.
6. Ensure production batches are manufactured according to the batch production record instruction or that approved deviations are in place where batch production requirements are not met. Pull records from retention room for in-house and customer needs.
7. Place inventory on hold if it is suspected to be non-conforming, and notify the Director of Quality.
8. Verify completed work orders for completion of all inspection points.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Line of Reporting
Quality Assurance Technicians reports directly to the Director of Quality. Performance Monitoring
This position will be evaluated for job performance annually (more frequently if determined necessary by the supervisor) to ensure the duties listed above are carried out in an effective and professional manner. Failure to perform adequately may result in additional training or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
