Position: Quality Assurance

Location: Litchfield Park AZ

Pay: $18 an hour

Shift: Mon.-Fri. 7am-3:30 pm

POSITION SUMMARY Ensure quality system is followed according to established procedures. Will assist in development and maintenance of quality system. Perform daily QA inspections, hourly production line checks and utilize our quality tracking process to ensure manufactured and purchased products satisfy internal and external standards and requirements.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws/regulations for the company procedures and guidelines, this position will:
• Supports production to ensure compliance with the company’s Quality System policies and procedures and applicable external requirements and standards.
• Assist in and perform quality inspection activities as needed or as directed by the department manager.
• Review quality standards and SOP’s for new and existing products and ensure the quality of new and existing products satisfy company and customer expectations.
• Perform other duties as necessary EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• High school degree/secondary education. and 1 – 2 years related experience and/or training in Manufacturing or Quality, or combination thereof.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
• Must have basic understanding of Quality Assurance and be familiar with tools related to Quality inspection.

REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
• Some may need to climb a ladder to a height of at least 12 feet
• Wear appropriate safety equipment
• Flexible to over time as needed to meet occasional spikes in production demand
• Frequently required to stand, bend, or reach
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral, depth, and ability to adjust or focus
• A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are warm/hot and noise level can be moderate to high WORK PLACE CONDITIONS The employee will frequently spend a large percentage of work time in a warehouse where temperatures are warm/hot and noise level can be moderate to high.

Will use a computer keyboard, mouse, and tablet.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include product inspection and viewing a computer screen.

Employee must wear required PPE for the working environment.
