As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will help develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) for the refurbished and capital scope of work at ASM. Activities within this system include the following:

• Ensure personnel performing work are qualified and have necessary certifications.
• Control of materials and equipment during construction
• Control of field design changes
• Control of special processes such as welding, non destruction examination
• Control of testing and verification, assessments
• Control of documents and records

Requirements

Further to helping develop and implement the QMS you will be expected to:

• Develop procedures, guidelines, forms referenced in the QMS.
• Review and approve Construction Subcontractor quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and other related quality submittals.
• Perform scheduled assessment of Construction Subcontractor activities against their approved Quality Plan, Procedures and ITPs based on their scope of work.
• Witness and sign for acceptance of all on site construction and any off-site fabrication testing.
• Maintain the record set of acceptance tests, conformance certificates and approved ITPs and testing procedures.
• Identify nonconforming conditions and notifying the Project Manager of situation that justify stopping work.
• Taking the lead role in issuance of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), following any issued NCR to closure and maintaining a log of NCRs and corrective action.
• Hold regular meetings with Construction Subcontractor Quality representative to identify and address potential Quality related project risks.
• Monitor/witness the quality activities of the Construction Subcontractor and document completed quality surveillance of the Construction Subcontractor’s work in accordance with the requirements of this Plan, approved ITPs, and Procedures.
• Review quality records required for turnover.
• Prepare a monthly report to management summarizing site QUALITY activities, concerns, and project quality statistics for the period.
• Preparing project QUALITY close-out report.
• Participate in Project Lessons Learnt Workshop
