Recruiter (Ogden, UT)
Summary:
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Specialist to join our team in Ogden, UT. You'll play a key role in filling critical direct labor positions, primarily machinists. This fast-paced role involves the entire recruitment cycle, from screening resumes to extending offers and coordinating pre-employment steps.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment process, including posting job ads, reviewing resumes, contacting applicants, conducting phone screens and interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, providing timely responses to inquiries.
- Coordinate pre-employment steps like drug screenings and background checks.
- Deliver regular updates on recruitment progress to the HR team and leadership.
- Maintain accurate records within our HRIS system and candidate flow log.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, bachelor's degree in HR or a related field preferred.
- Proven recruitment experience, ideally in manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
- Solid understanding of recruitment best practices and candidate evaluation methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR software and candidate databases.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
