Reliability Engineer

Position Overview: The Reliability Engineer position is responsible for ensuring reliable operations of all equipment, systems, and processes. The Reliability Engineer will ensure the optimization of process controls, maintenance plans, and production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct root cause analysis and fault-tree analysis to identify failure modes and preventative measures.
• Develop and analyze metrics to measure and enhance the reliability of the equipment, systems, and processes.
• Develop and sustain reliability programs for operational and maintenance personnel.
• Analyze and evaluate data to determine trends and anticipate potential problems.
• Develop and execute accelerated testing procedures and plans.
• Identify single point of failure, operational hazards, and design solutions to improve reliability.
• Conduct failure mode, effects and analysis (FMEA), functional analysis, functional failure analysis, and testability analysis.
• Perform human error analysis, planned maintenance optimization (PMO), and production controls.
• Provide expertise, guidance, and recommendations to maximize process optimization and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in reliability engineering and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PLCs, VBA, SolidWorks, SAP, and Polymer Extrusion.
• Sound knowledge of SPC, DCS, and operational maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of equipment troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to analyze data and draw insights.
