CNC Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Independently operate CNC machines including milling machines lathes and grinders to produce precision parts.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to set up machines and equipment accurately.
• Utilize computerized measuring tools to ensure parts meet stringent quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project objectives and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues to ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher preference for candidates with certifications from accredited technical programs.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents including blueprints and operational manuals.
• Strong mathematical aptitude for precise measurements and calculations.
• Demonstrable experience with CNC machine tools and computerized measuring equipment.
• Solid mechanical skills with a proven ability to operate a variety of machine tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from an accredited community college or technical/vocational school.
• Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Experience in a highvolume fastpaced manufacturing setting.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with a focus on optimizing productivity and quality.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills capable of documenting processes and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
