The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for the overall sanitation program of the facility, ensuring that it meets all regulatory and safety requirements in order to create a safe and healthy environment. The Sanitation Supervisor will plan, implement, and manage all sanitation operations to ensure the highest standards of sanitation are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily sanitation program for the facility, which includes the cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces, as well as the storage and disposal of all chemical and waste products.
- Develop and implement sanitation protocols and procedures to meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
- Manage the chemical management program, including inventory control, proper storage, and proper use of chemical products.
- Ensure all cleaning processes are properly monitored and documented and all sanitation records are maintained.
- Ensure all quality assurance and environmental responsibility requirements are met.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pumps, foamers, sanitizers, and dispensers.
- Train and supervise sanitation personnel to ensure all procedures are properly followed and safety protocols are adhered to.
- Implement and maintain a HACCP program to ensure food safety and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or related field.
- 2-3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of chemicals, QA, FSQA, and Ecolab.
- Ability to read and interpret safety data sheets.
- Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
