What you will do-

This position will provide manufacturing strategic guidance and support to the Mergers and Acquisitions leaders with M&A pipeline and M&A activity required to complete due diligence and close a transaction. This position is the key point of contact between the M&A team and manufacturing. This position will coordinate manufacturing resources as well as resolving issues that arise during the pre-close period. Additional responsibilities include ensuring a smooth transition & project hand-off to the Division Manufacturing leader and/or carrying the project through integration as required by the business.

  • Support worldwide merger and acquisition activities from a manufacturing perspective
  • Complete all Due Diligence activities for manufacturing
  • Lead efforts to inform and engage Division Manufacturing leaders on a consistent basis (i.e., monthly)
  • Manage Manufacturing M&A activity pipeline
  • Act as a close partner of the M&A Program / Integration Leads, to define and implement the target business development strategies
  • Manufacturing member of due diligence team and support GQO due diligence activities to evaluate systems and processes, potential risks, opportunities and synergies at a potential target site
  • Coordinate and ensure manufacturing provides early input for the M&A team relating to deal model financials, supply strategy and remediation
  • Set improvements and best practices in the market assessment, target search, Indication of Interest (IOI) templates, negotiation strategies and the conclusion of transactions
  • Plan and execute pre-close assessments to identify major risks and associated risk mitigation / communication plans, ensure continuity of business, and initiate planning of integration activities
  • Assist in the development of plans to transition to integration and lead manufacturing integration activities as necessary
  • Ensure alignment with the GQO Plant Network Strategy

What you need-

  • Bachelor's degree -required
  • 10 years of experience in Manufacturing leadership, Mergers and Acquisitions, Integration, Operations Management or relevant experience -required
  • Understanding of Quality Systems Requirements, Manufacturing/Operations best practices, and Operations financials -highly preferred
  • $122,800.00-$271,400.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
