Job Description - Sr. Technical Recruiter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our team. As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier technical talent for Mercury Systems. You will collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to understand the technical / business requirements and skills needed for various roles. Your expertise in the recruitment field will be crucial in identifying and engaging with top talent within our engineering, program and product management fields. Their primary duties include but are not limited to: * Sourcing and Identifying Candidates: Utilizing various sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals to identify potential candidates with the desired technical skills and experience. * Screening and Interviewing: Conducting initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ technical expertise, cultural fit, and overall qualifications for the role. This may involve technical assessments or coding challenges. * Candidate Evaluation and Selection: Evaluating candidates’ resumes, interview feedback, and technical assessments to determine their suitability for the position. Collaborating with hiring managers to make informed decisions and recommendations. * Building and Maintaining Candidate Relationships: Engaging with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates, and fostering positive relationships to ensure a positive candidate experience. * Collaborating with Hiring Managers: Working closely with hiring managers to understand their technical requirements, provide guidance on market trends and talent availability, and develop effective recruitment strategies. Perform live Sourcing calls to review profiles and develop pipelines * Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing: Promoting the organization’s employer brand to attract top technical talent. Creating compelling s and marketing materials to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition. * Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving the recruitment process to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience. Providing insights and recommendations to optimize the talent acquisition strategy. * Market Research and Talent Mapping: Staying updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis to identify potential talent pools and develop proactive recruitment strategies that also include diversity recruitment strategies and creating relationships to develop future talent needs * Applicant Tracking System ( ATS ) Management: to manage candidate data, track recruitment metrics, and generate reports for analysis and decision-making. * Partner with HRBP’s and HR colleagues to ensure a seamless recruitment process, adherence to policies and procedures, and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Required Qualifications: * BS or Minimum of 5 years of experience years of experience in technical recruitment, supporting engineering, program and/or product management lines of business * Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and hiring top with out of the box thinking. * Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers. * Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking System ( ATS ); * Be willing to partner with the broader team, contributing across the business where needed, utilizing diverse skillset for hiring needs within multiple disciplines including but not limited to manufacturing/ production, engineering, program management, Operations and functional excellence. * Demonstrated expertise in full-lifecycle recruiting with success in managing a high req load. * Willingness to partner and attend career fair events as needed. * Experience in Technology, Aerospace and Defense * Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in Technology, Aerospace and Defense * Compliance within OFCCP regulations and practices * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player * Working knowledge with ADP Recruitment Management ( ATS ) * Strong follow up; ability to communicate effectively to applicants, hiring managers and leadership – Ability to be a remote worker, preference to be near a Mercury facility as a hybrid worker “This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
