Tool and die maker

LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a skilled Tool & Die Maker. This opportunity is located in Fort Mill, SC, and includes a relocation package! Location: Fort Mill, SC Department: Tooling Shift: 3rd (11 pm – 7 am) Compensation:

• Salary Range: $23.20 - $31.45 per hour
• Shift Premium: 12%
• Hiring Bonus: $1,000 after the initial period
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and manufacture a series of product samples, prototypes, tools, or systems within specified timelines, following work plans, work orders, and specifications.
• Recognize and interpret construction plans, relevant drawings, and work orders in collaboration with the team.
• Ensure the availability of material parts and resources needed to complete assignments.
• Prepare all relevant tools, machines, and parts according to defined sample plans; produce and/or assemble parts, components, products, systems, or tools.
• Perform sight checks, functionality, or quality test routines, and document respective results.
• Support and cooperate with Project Managers or Engineers in the analysis of samples.
  

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Machine Tool Technology, Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, or a Certified Journeyman Card.
• Experience with a variety of manually operated machine tools including lathes, mills, and grinders (OD/ID and Surface).
• Skilled in reading blueprints and interpreting dimensions and geometric tolerancing.
• Proficient in working with the Metric measurement system.
• Understanding of Tool Steel and Tungsten Carbide uses.
• Experience using precision gaging and measuring equipment, including ID, OD, Depth, and conventional micrometers.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.
