Volt is NOW HIRING a Tooling Supervisor in beautiful Northvale, NJ ! This successful candidate has 5+ years of previous hands-on work experience as a Tool Maker and Tooling Supervisor. The Tooling Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tooling operations, including maintenance, repair, and optimization of tooling equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
This is a DIRECT HIRE , Full-Time opportunity.
*Relocation assistance provided by company if needed*
Schedule: M-F with Opportunity for OT (1st Shift: 7AM – 3:30PM)
Compensation: $35-50/Hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling management or related field
• Strong technical knowledge of tooling design, maintenance, and repair processes
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CNC machining, injection molding, or other relevant manufacturing processes preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Summary:

• Manage a team of tooling technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Develop and implement tooling maintenance programs to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
• Schedule and prioritize tooling repairs and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for tooling improvement and optimization.
• Monitor tooling performance and implement corrective actions as needed to address issues and improve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures related to tooling operations.
• Maintain accurate records of tooling inventory, maintenance activities, and costs.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices to improve tooling performance and efficiency.
