The Coordinator is responsible for the execution of the work scope. This involves coordinating with Operations to manage risk and ensure progress. Seeks and finds the answers to questions that are holding up progress and elevates them if needed.
Key Accountabilities: - Execution
- Assure Work is progressing in a safe manner
- Attend/aware of permit meetings
- Audit safe work permits
- Resolve any issues for contractors, making sure critical activities are getting required resources
- Clear roadblocks for contractor so they may keep work progressing efficiently (making sure work is progressing)
- Working knowledge of the 3 Day Look Ahead to ensure the work is waiting on the contractor
- Accurate and timely updates to Lead Coordinator
- Help locate, identify, or procure missing materials
- Monitor work, determine and resolve issues if work is not progressing
- Professional behavior is to be exhibited and fostered
- Immediately quench conflicts along racial and / or union / non-union affiliations. Report such conflicts to respective leads.
- Verify accurate reporting from contractor to Primavera P6 for both critical and non-critical path work
- Ensures no contractor requested change orders, time sheets, weather delay forms, etc. are signed by anyone in the field. Refers contractors making such requests to the Contract Manager’s meeting.

Primary Interactions - Field coordinators are LRC Representatives at each unit.
- Collaborate with Area Quantity Surveyors to update reporting
- Communicate progress update to Lead Coordinator
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure the correct work scopes are begin addressed
Reporting Relationships Directly reports progress and/or major obstacles to the Lead Coordinator.
Communicates changes in work scope or direction to contractor
We are seeking candidates who have working knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook. A knowledge of IPS, Integrated Planning Systems and SAP would be an asset.
