Warehouse Production Lead

Shift/Pay Rate : 3rd shift (12am to 8:15am): $20.60/hour

Responsibilities :

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing established policies and procedures
• Foster strong interaction among shift team members to facilitate effective communication regarding production concerns
• Identify resource requirements supported by relevant data such as time studies and capacity, while ensuring adherence to the production schedule
• Provide guidance on manufacturing goals and direct team members to meet day-to-day production needs
• Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or loss
• Establish and maintain manufacturing processes necessary for building high-quality products
• Address any Corrective Actions (CPAR) with thorough analysis and timely closure
• Monitor and manage scrap and Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs) in real-time, conducting root cause and corrective action analysis as required
• Conduct cycle counts as necessary to maintain accurate Work-in-Progress (WIP) counts
• Approve leave and overtime, manage attendance records, handle resignations, initiate terminations, process layoff actions, and monitor employee improvement plans
• Address and resolve employee concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical or business-related field is preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles with demonstrated team participation or leadership in continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience in leadership, problem solving, conflict resolution, and organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting data for data-driven analysis
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with industrial manufacturing equipment used on production lines
