The School of Information Technology is a national leader in studying solutions and needs that connect people, information, and the technology of the time. The SoIT (School of Information Technology) is home to Ohio's first Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Information Technology. In addition, it is home to Ohio's first ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. The SoIT has been growing at 20% annually and currently serves more than 2300 students with 31 full-time faculty members, 28 full-time staff, and 43 adjunct faculty. The SoIT is home to several centers including an NSA/DHS Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, the Information Technology Solutions Center, the Ohio Cyber Range Institute, Applied Machine Learning and Intelligence Center, and the Smart Synergies Lab.

The School of Information Technology seeks to hire an Assistant Director, Academic – IT Learning Center to support student success and retention. Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Success, the Assistant Director, Academic – IT Learning Center is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT Learning Center, and working with the Associate Director of Student Success, to ensure all Teaching Assistants are meeting the expectations, policies, and standards of the center. The Assistant Director will contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic vision and goals of the IT Learning Center, program planning, policy formation, outcomes assessment and annual reporting with the School of Information Technology (SoIT).
The Assistant Director, Academic – IT Learning Center is expected to maintain the highest level of professional competency and to contribute to the success of the School’s strategic plan ( while assisting with other duties in the School and attending SoIT and University events as needed. We are looking for mission driven, team oriented, highly ambitious individuals who want to serve, make a difference and who strive to perform at competitive levels of excellence.
