Associate Technician

Job summary
The Associate Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments, or equipment to meet customer expectations. This position is part of the Distribution Center located in Hebron, KY and will be on-site. High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities
• Receives and stores product, picks and packs product for shipment, and ships orders. • Inspects materials for orders verifying accurate quantity, lot number, expiration dates and product part number. • Creates and/or ensures appropriate documentation is completed for orders. • Reconciles inventory and may perform cycle counts and data entry functions as assigned. • May involve operation of powered industrial equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, cherry picker, and/or reach trucks. • Identifies and solves routine problems in work area with management team. • Assists management team on organizational improvement projects such as lean and quality initiatives.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times during an 8-to-10-hour shift. • Physical ability to push, pull, bend, and twist multiple times up to 2 to 4 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift. • Physical ability to stand/walk approximately 2 to 4 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift. • Previous experience in computer usage using Oracle and Microsoft applications. • Previous experience working on high-performing teams in fast-paced environments. • Previous experience operating powered equipment (Forklift, reach truck/cherry picker).
