Your Responsibilities

As a Business Development Accounting Lead for JD Financial Worldwide Headquarters located in Johnston, IA or Remote  you will:

• Support the New Business team with financial analysis and business counseling. 
• Provide ad-hoc requests for analysis and/or information related to the business.
• Provide business counseling and budgeting for certain business areas.
• Provide management reports related to cost reduction tracking.

What Skills You Need

• 5 or more years of experience in an accounting, finance, or audit role
• Solid understanding of financial concepts such as Budgets, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Return on Investment (ROI), Operating Return on Assets (OROA), Shareholder Value Added (SVA), etc.
• Experience with digitalization/reporting tools (PowerQuery, PowerBI, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What Makes You Stand Out

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and think differently 
• Experience modeling new business ideas

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance discipline
