The Category Analytics Manager provides high quality analytical support to Business Unit (BU) Sales managers, leaders and teams. Understand and monitor key drivers of category, brand and customer sales for assigned brand platforms. Provide recommendations to achieve business objectives, and lead development and dissemination of key initiative trackers through understanding of key business health metrics. Develop strong sustainable relationships throughout organization and with key vendors. Collaborate across Sales Strategy team and Brand team for assigned brand platforms.  

In this role:

  • Lead analytical support for BU Sales managers, leaders and teams.
  • Supports BU Sales managers and Adult and Feminine Care (AFC) brand team to strategically identify market issues and popular trends.
  • Provide overall expertise and Point of View on Brand health (Base and incremental sales, market share, shipments, distribution, logistics, pricing, promotion, shelving and competitive analyses).
  • Create and deliver persuasive communications driven by data and insights recommendations for improvements and advancements.
  • Produce DPSM (Distribution, Pricing, Shelving and Merchandising) and key initiative scorecards and facilitate/drive action related to the outcomes or results.
  • Primary consultant and support for customer-specific analytical requests from Brand and Customer teams, excluding eCommerce operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in business analyses roles
  • Strong analytical and influencing skills, category and customer sales experience.
  • Proficient in Nielsen/IRI tools

Preferred:

  • Cross Functional CPG experience
