CDL- B Tour Manager

TideSmart seeks an experienced CDL-B Tour Manager for a three-month B2C campaign beginning July 14th and running through October 18th.

• Has a valid CDL-B license and experience operating buses
• Has previous national tour management experience, especially on B2C campaigns
• Is available throughout the entire program duration

Employment Dates (including travel, training, and decommission): July 14- October 18, 2024

Markets and Events: This tour will visit 13 major markets throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southwest, West Coast, and Midwest. Training, launch, and decommission will take place at TideSmart Headquarters in Maine.

Tour Manager Responsibilities:

• Primary driver: responsible for proper operation of the tour vehicle and assets; including coordinating maintenance.
• Operation of the tour vehicle in accordance with DOT codes, company policies, and procedures.
• Act as on-site authority for all event activations
• Manage inventory, event set-up/breakdown, and technology throughout the tour,
• Facilitate a welcoming, positive, and professional guest experience for all event attendees and client representatives.
• Fulfill all communication and reporting obligations as defined in the tour manual and agreed upon during training.
• Exceptional punctuality for all events, set up, conference calls, and appointments during the length of tour.
• Ensure no intentional or negligent vehicle damage or lost vehicle articles.

Tour Manager- Individual Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Tour Manager in the experiential/events marketing industry or related field
• Valid Class B CDL
• Able to provide a professional reference upon request.
• Able to successfully pass a background check, MVR check, and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be comfortable driving long distances in a large vehicle
