CNC Mill Machinist

We are looking to hire a Manual Machinist to assist in providing products and services for a wide variety of governmental and industrial markets with an emphasis on quality,  accurately, and a keen attention to detail.

Position Details

• Classification: Salary Exempt
• Schedule: Monday – Friday

Primary Responsibilities

• Operates lathes, milling machines or other equipment in the area.
• Reviews and understands drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
• Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
• Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
• Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
• Maintains inventory of completed products.
• Checks output for quality assurance, documents and reports defects.
• Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and documents the service.
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
• Accurately logs job times in the ERP system.
• Any other tasks, jobs, or duties assigned by management.

Primary Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years' experience as a manual machinist.
• Ability to set-up and operate manually controlled mills, lathes, rotary tables, hand tools.
• Ability to read most common forms of precision measuring instruments. 
• Ability to problem solve and is proficient in math.
• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
