📝 Position Summary: Duties

• 🧫 Receive laboratory specimens, process, sort, and prepare them for submission to referral laboratories.
• 🏷️ Label specimens and aliquots according to established protocols and testing orders.
• ⚙️ Prepare specimens for courier pick-up and maintain accurate records/documentation.
• 📋 Assess specimen requirements for referral testing, troubleshoot issues, and review pending referral testing reports.

⚙️ Qualifications:

• 🎓 High School Diploma or GED required; Vocational/Technical diploma beneficial.
• 💼 1-3 years of experience in a market or commercial clinical laboratory setting; acute care experience is a must.
• 👩‍👧‍👦 Wide range of experience with patients of all age groups from infancy to geriatrics.
