About the Role: Content Marketing Manager As our Content Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Director of Content Marketing. You are a dynamic writer, known for your ability to produce creative and compelling content grounded in thorough research and customer insights. Your expertise extends to translating business objectives into content strategies that yield meaningful results across various channels, including web and email. With a deep understanding of content and technical SEO, as well as copywriting best practices, you excel in crafting messaging that resonates with our audience. Your proactive approach, combined with your collaborative spirit, ensures your success in driving core marketing functions, including content and product marketing, demand generation, and PR/communications. Top 3 Key Outcomes in Year 1 Implement an SEO content strategy to drive year-over-year organic website traffic growth and enhance search rankings for strategic keywords.
Enhance reporting mechanisms for content marketing KPIs, focusing on SEO performance, organic traffic, and conversions.
Establish and manage an editorial process to oversee owned content channels, freelance writers, and paid content placements. Your Priorities Collaborate with the Director of Content Marketing and the Marketing Team to uphold our brand voice and effectively communicate product offerings and value propositions.
Develop and execute a comprehensive blog content strategy to optimize SEO performance and elevate brand awareness.
Craft compelling copy aligned with our brand identity for various marketing assets and communications.
Create article briefs to guide freelance writers, ensuring high-quality output while maximizing efficiency.
Optimize content initiatives through iterative testing and analysis, aligning with overarching business goals.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to align content marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
Maintain editorial calendars, style guides, and other essential documentation.
Conduct thorough SEO keyword research, including competitor analysis, to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
Own and analyze SEO and blog KPIs regularly, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
Stay abreast of industry trends to inform brand and product positioning strategies.
Manage relationships with internal and external writers and partners.
Contribute to the creation and publication of long-form content, such as ebooks, as needed. Qualifications Demonstrated commitment to humility, innovation, and excellence.
Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
Passion for our products and their potential to serve churches, ministries, and nonprofits.
Proficiency in CRMs, marketing software, and SEO tools.
Experience planning and executing end-to-end email marketing campaigns.
Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a focus on maintaining brand voice.
Proven ability to problem-solve and innovate within marketing strategies.
Proficiency in analytics, measurement, and reporting.
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams.

Teachable: Committed to ongoing learning and professional growth. Compensation The total compensation for this role ranges between $70,000 - $75,000 per year. Location This position is 100% remote and available to candidates residing in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, KS, MO, MI, NC, NM, OK, OH, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA.
