Job Description - Desktop support

Help Desk PC Support
Los Angeles, CA
Contract 6 +months (37.5 hours/week)
Pay up to $25.00/HR Our client is in a state of growth and needs immediate Help Desk PC Support. They are looking to bring on a strong technical support administration with outstanding Customer Service abilities People Skills is a MUST. Responsible for installing, monitoring, and maintaining operating systems, printers, servers, responsible for the setup of hardware and software for on boarding and off boarding employees including computer resets and reconfiguration, upgrading, and installing software and backing up files from previous employees.


Required Skills:

  • Position requires experience in providing professional and courteous customer service. Knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking.
  • Position is responsible for maintaining efficient operation of multi-user systems. Monitors performance, maintaining and updating operating systems. Installs, configures, and performs system integration testing of operating systems and related utilities.
  • Troubleshoots server and system problems. Investigates and resolves issues by installing and applying individual, permanent temporary fixes (PTF), cumulative or group fixes as appropriate. Documents solutions to problems.
  • Network support including troubleshooting of connectivity issues, both wired and wireless, network printer support and troubleshooting.
  • Education: An associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. Knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking.
  • Experience: Position requires a minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration/ Desktop Support in an Outlook and Windows 10 environment. Experience with PC/MAC configuration, OKTA and desktop support also needed.
