Job Description We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Director of Direct Commerce to spearhead our direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales and consumer marketing strategy creating awareness and optimizing our brand(s) direct shopping channels via website and other sales channels. This person is responsible for various facets of online operations, business planning, and marketing strategies. This role calls for a strategic thinker with a growth mindset who excels in team leadership, innovation, and expanding product and channel offerings. Position location: This role can be based out of the Fortune Brand Innovation Deerfield, IL, Oak Creek, WI, Maumee, OH or North Olmsted, OH facilities following a hybrid work schedule. Our Hybrid work schedule provides associates the flexibility to work remotely Monday and Friday while being in the office Tuesday – Thursday. Responsibilities Lead and execute strategy for existing and future DTC sites, including all of our business units

  • Create and drive marketing and sales strategies while leading strategic execution with the DTC Team and Matrix COE support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DTC initiatives with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Oversee online marketing efforts, including DTC website requirements, social media, email campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and digital advertising.
  • Implement lead nurturing strategies to convert prospects into owners and support the sales funnel.
  • Lead and/or manage team members to identify, establish, and nurture relationships with key influencers to amplify brand messaging and product advocacy.
  • Conceptualize and implement integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate product features, benefits, and differentiation.
  • Utilize market research and customer insights to tailor campaigns to specific consumer segments.
  • Lead the development and execution of the DTC campaign, consumer messaging platform, media plan, and tactics.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support teams to ensure seamless alignment between marketing efforts and consumer experience.
  • Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and quality to ensure compliance of all DTC campaigns and initiatives.
  • Oversee execution of On-Site Strategies, including assortment, merchandising and promotions
  • Lead retention, promotion and CRM strategies to drive engagement, increased consumer return rate and repeat purchases
  • Partner with Data Market Analyst for all areas of the business including Sales, Google Analytics, Social KPIs, email performance, on-site and linear support to tell the story and drive the business
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Solid understanding of DTC/ Ecommerce business with a mix of Merchandising, creative, technical and sales knowledge
  • Validated strong strategic problem solver who can set goals and run multiple, diverse projects
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail and solid follow up
  • Presence with an ability to influence at all levels cross-functionally.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Shopify, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Social Media Advertising, Affiliate Programs and email marketing tools
  • Understanding of web consumer behavior
