Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI)seeks a talentedDirector of Marketing and Communicationsto contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. The Director of Marketing & Communications (Marcom) role at CCSI is a dynamic position suitable for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. Ideal candidates for this role are energized by having the autonomy and empowerment to independently develop a strategic MARCOM plan but are just as eager to roll up their sleeves and participate in getting the work done.
Our director level professionals spend about 60% of their time on strategy development and the remaining time working on development and execution of content against that strategy. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for developing and executing CCSI’s strategic marketing, communications, and public relations plan.
The Director will partner with Senior Leadership across the organization to develop, direct, and implement CCSI’s internal and external messaging and communication strategies, telling the organization’s story and advancing our mission, services, and brand.
In this role, you will be responsible for building, developing, and directing the efforts of the Marketing & Communications team on creative strategy and content aimed at reaching the CCSI workforce, current and potential customers, and other key stakeholders.
As the Director of Marketing and Communications you will be
Providing vision and strategy to all marketing, communication, and public relation initiatives.
Developing annual Marcom strategy and the supporting workplan, including managing the associated budget. Retains and manages outside services as needed to achieve Marcom goals.
Designing the multichannel Marcom strategies and plans needed to drive engagement via compelling, consistent, and integrated messaging that effectively represents CCSI’s services to customers, prospects, employees, and key stakeholders.
Enhancing CCSI’s brand and rolling out plans to assist staff with the skills needed to be brand ambassadors, ensuring adherence to the agency’s style guide and brand guidelines
Partnering with Talent and Culture team to build and execute internal and external communications strategy that positions CCSI as an exceptional place to grow and build a career.
Ensuring that CCSI’s strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and to anti-racist practice is reflected in our Marketing and Communications strategies.
Proactively identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic media opportunities as well as media material development.
Overseeing graphic design, video production, editorial content, data visualization, and website design and maintenance work conducted by internal and external teams.
Providing quality oversight for publications and other communications activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What You Need
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of work experience, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart ( )
Successful marketing and communication leadership experience, demonstrating the skills and competencies needed to assume the responsibilities outlined above. Non-Profit or healthcare marketing and communications experience preferred
Excellent copywriting experience with the ability to reach multiple audiences with messaging that resonates and inspires.
Additional Requirements
This is a Remote/Hybrid position with expectations to attend in-person meetings in the Rochester, NY office several times per month and other CCSI locations across New York state on occasion
Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
