Eukanuba Brand and Marketing Lead er is responsible for influencing the global brand compass and innovation pipeline, defining and leading business and portfolio strategies for the Eukanuba Brand in North America, and for collaborating with pillar directors to build annual brand plans that drive results against financial, operational, and sales goals for the United States. 

As a member of the Marketing Leadership Team, the Eukanuba Brand and Marketing Lead er is responsible for encouraging collaboration and engagement across the broad North America Marketing organization, promoting an inclusive culture that adopts a growth mind-set, thrives through a high-performance drive, and embodies the Mars Principles . 

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in business , marketing, or related field
• 6+ years of experienc e in Brand Management, Marketing or related field including expert level experience in strategic planning
• 6+ years’ experience in marketing strategy, brand management, innovation management, portfolio management 
• 4+ years’ experience in a strategic role with people leadership responsibilities 
• Deep expertise in brand and portfolio management  
• Strategically agile, data and insights driven, with a passion for understanding the broadest view of the business
• Skilled at establishing and maintaining relationship across a wide variety of stakeholder and business partners 
• P&L ownership with a track record of building results that deliver on financial requirements of the business
• E xperience influencing internal and external partners , de monstr ating ability to develop and cultivate relationships
• Strong communication skills . E ffectively and proactively communicate to executive and global leaders , as well as across business unit leaders, functional teams, and customer s .
• Effective leadership and organizational skills: Ability to manage, mentor and motivate associates directly and indirectly to establish a supportive work environment leading to professional growth

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Partner with campus to shape Eukanuba ’s brand vision, global strategies and priorities , and innovation pipeline
• Relay a n aligned North America n point-of-view to global leadership ; c ollaborate
• with Canada to identify synergies and establish strategic alignment
• Establish, execute, and maintain a 5-year ambition for Eukanuba in the US . Gather data and insights from cross-functional teams , driv e breakthrough thinking, and propos e recommendations and business needs to North America Leadership and key stakeholder of the Global Leadership Team
• Build a strategic framework to support both short and long-term business objectives , securing necessary resources, knowledge, and tools , and sponsoring resulting workstreams
• Drive the annual brand planning process for Eukanuba in the US, creating clear and measurable goals and objectives
• Work in close coordination with other senior leaders and pillar heads to drive results against business and brand objectives via marketing and communication plans, pricing, portfolio optimization, route to market and customer relations . 
• Own North America portfolio management including validating innovation choices through the PMR process, establishing launch plans for new products, and optimizing efficiency and impact of product offerings and mix.   
• Oversee US Eukanuba marketing budget: allocate spend across pillars in support of business priorities and to maximize ROI 
• Identify breakthrough strategies to increase brand penetration and business contribution 
• Establish a high-performance culture and drive employee engagement, leading by example.
• Play a key role in talent management, including recruiting, performance management, and succession planning
• Build the br and Marketing community across North America by collaborating with Global and other key stakeholders, including the Canad ian Brand T eam. 
• Line Manager for reporting associates. Foster career development and growth paths for associates in alignment with company and personal objectives .
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
