Job Summary: 

Accountable to Evaluation Management and responsible for working closely with the Perfumer(s) to evaluate and select the appropriate fragrance submissions by researching the existing collection, and inspiring newly created compounds in order to satisfy customer requirements for the laundry category. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Create fragrance strategies and provide olfactive guidance and inspiration to Perfumery to develop winning fragrance proposals for all fabric categories - LLD, Fabric Softeners, Scent Beads and Dryer Sheets.
• Successful management and interaction of accounts by leading multiple affiliates and Perfumery through all stages of project.
• Ability to write and support fragrance candidates with strong olfactive rationales.
• Analyze client portfolio and build proactive action plan to develop and test fragrances for future briefings.
• Strong awareness of market categories and their olfactive trends with emphasis on Laundry.
• Maximize efficiencies by utilizing internal market research as well as proprietary technology and innovation tools.
• Knowledgeable of short- and long-term strategic objectives and account penetration strategies. 
• Works closely with Marketing to develop fragrance descriptors and presentations.
• Conduct customer presentations and accompany sales on customer calls.
• Ensure that selected fragrances conform to RIFM guidelines, price parameters, and various client and or product safety restrictions.

Educational Qualifications: 

Bachelor Degree in Cosmetics or related field preferred .

Experience:

7+ years related fragrance evaluation experience.

Competencies:

• Able to detect olfactive trends and develop in-depth market product knowledge.
• Must be organized, have good verbal and written skills, show attention to details, reliable and show initiative along with creativity.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, environment with the ability to prioritize.
