For more information, please visit our PinFlex landing page. **Position Overview:** The Internal Events Team, formerly known as Workplace Events, orchestrates and supports internal employee events, ranging from client meetings to global company-wide events held simultaneously worldwide. Our goal is to foster a welcoming and enjoyable culture that inspires everyone to create a life they cherish. As an Event Marketing Specialist I, you will either project manage cross-functional organizational events or design and program our own company-wide events throughout the year. In either scenario, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to advance shared goals across the business. This role calls for a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a commitment to building foundational relationships with employees globally. **Responsibilities:**1. **Event Leadership and Management:**
- Manage and execute company-wide employee events assigned by the Head of Events, varying in size and complexity.
- Lead internal cross-functional teams, handle vendor management, set vision and direction, define success metrics, and work towards common goals.
- Collaborate with office leads, Site Managers, EABPs, culture clubs, and others to design and execute global events tailored to each unique office's parameters.
- Oversee strict budgets and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Review and negotiate vendor contracts.
- Implement an organized tracking system to oversee logistics for 10+ offices and capture metrics for management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in off-site event planning, including booking and planning venues for 300+ attendees.
- Engage remote/virtual employees within event programming.
- Handle full production planning, including employee registration, security and check-in procedures, event flow/agenda, floor plans, decor, design, vendor management, onsite management, load-in, load-out logistics, etc.
- Track post-event metrics (e.g., percentage of office sign-ups versus actual attendance by tracking RSVPs).
- Brainstorm fun, alternative ideas with the team for unique and memorable events. 2. **Enhancing Company Culture:**
- Design intentional and engaging employee experiences that foster connections with the company, creating unique, on-brand environments and events.
- Collaborate with I&D and Pinclusion Groups, as well as internal communications, marketing, and brand teams to plan inclusive experiences.
- Conduct employee surveys to gather insights and iterate programs to achieve target goals.
- Report findings and provide program suggestions to the manager. **Qualifications:**- Interest in Design and Brand.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing strict budgets.
- Willingness to travel internationally and maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate multiple time zones, including weekends and/or after-hours.
- Strong focus on building personal relationships, inclusivity, advocating our brand, and fostering a sense of belonging.
- 7+ years of practical experience in a role related to event management (food and beverage, off-site event operations, Workplace events, etc.).
- Ability to commute/travel up to 20% for offsite light travel to conduct site visits for select events.
