Job Description - Field Engineer Equipment Maintainer II

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S
Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II
JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges JOB SUMMARY -ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Will consider experience in any or all of the below areas
Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and certifying in the following:
• HF/UHV/VHF ground-to-air radio communications equipment • Switches, routers and networking equipment • Cable television systems to include head-ends building and television installation and troubleshooting • P25 Land Mobile Radio Systems and repeaters • Air Traffic Control operations centers • Navigation ground systems to include ILS/VOR/TACANS • Metrological/Weather systems • Must have excellent technical skills • Must have a willingness to perform field maintenance duties
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 10 years of experience • Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) transmission principals • Ability to use basic test equipment • General electronics, electro-mechanical, and computer systems • Understanding basic networking technology and telecommunications technologies • Knowledge in CISCO communications equipment • ISCET certification may be required • Associate or technical school with courses in math, basic electronics • Excellent technical skills
REQUIERMENTS -- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE An associate's degree in engineering or other technical discipline, or formal academic/vocational/military training and a minimum of seven years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field are required for this position
In addition, a Field Engineer II must possess the following qualifications:
• Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles and familiarity with related engineering fields
• Practical knowledge of test methods and practices sufficient to perform routine to more complex engineering procedures and to prepare or make minor modifications of standard test procedures or test equipment work instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Planning/organizational skills SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $62,046.40 to $95,700.80 annually
Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay
JT4 LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer

Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal; constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents; constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication; and constant mental alertness are required
Travel to remote company work locations may be required
