Full Time GIS Analyst Land Logics Group is a geospatial, environmentally focused GIS consulting firm. We provide software services to Integrated Pest Management Programs for digital records management, sell and train on GPS/GNSS high accuracy receiver products and provide services to support clients with our expertise in planning, design and GIS technology for various applications including asset management, ecological services analysis, stormwater management, 3D visualizations and general GIS implementation.
Position Description
LLG is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Geographic Information Systems Analyst to join our team. This is a practical, hands-on position who will develop and maintain GIS data and Webmap applications, assist with mobile field data collection setup and data collection using FieldMaps in addition to both our GNSS sales and marketing team. Looking for innovative thinker and solid critical thinking skills. Responsibilities
 Produce digital and physical geographic products in support of company needs.
 Implement standards and workflow processes for the creation, maintenance, and distribution of spatial data, including collecting accurate GNSS data.
 Create and maintain key corporate spatial and other GIS related datasets through use of coordinate geometry, GPS, digitization, keyboard entry of tabular data, and other methods.
 Participate as a team member on interdisciplinary projects that require GIS expertise and involvement.
 Stay abreast of emerging GIS technologies, trends, and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to improve workflows and outcomes.
 Provide technical support for GIS related field applications used in production agriculture.
 Read and map out land description issues using GIS tools.
 Train employees in basic use of GIS and GPS technology providing technical assistance and policy guidance.
 Support LLG GNSS Sales and Marketing efforts
 Respond to client support requests related to GIS and AGOL organizational account activities
 Develop story maps and other webmap applications
 Setup Webmaps for FieldMaps and mobile field data collectionQualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning, landscape architecture, hydrology, geography, geosciences or in a related degree such as natural/environmental science.
 3+ years of GIS experience using ESRI software (e.g. ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps etc.) in an energy, natural resources, land management or related field.
 Working knowledge and use of GNSS, coordinate systems, UAV, as well as related setup, processing, and troubleshooting.
 Solid skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
 Ability to design professional spatial product solutions.
 Excellent organizational, verbal, written, problem-solving and listening skills.
 In-state driver’s license with ability to travel statewide
 Willing and able to spend a portion of time performing mobile field data collection tasks, which includes exposure to outside weather conditions and traversing rough terrain.
 Ability to create detailed documentation and training materials
Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
 Prior experience working with local or state government.
 Experience with reading and interpreting real property legal descriptions, ordinances and an understanding of zoning codes and stormwater management ordinances.
 Knowledge of land management records used for property tax assessment, land surveying, engineering, or transportation.
 Previous experience with data collection or land surveying including topographic survey.
 Understanding of Stormwater regulations for land development activities.Pay and Benefits
Salary Compensation (Full Time): $59,500 – $68,500 per year ( pay range depends on years of experience and project management experience). Office Location: Camp Hill Pennsylvania. This is an in office position with flextime available. Benefit Conditions: Only full-time employees eligible
