About the Department:The histology laboratory is one component of the College of Veterinary Medicine Diagnostic Services. This revenue generating unit is responsible for the clinical, teaching and research histopathology needs of the CVM and other NCSU and regional contributors.
Essential Job Duties:This position supports the Histology Laboratory’s diagnostic, teaching, and research services. Techniques performed by the histology lab include both manual and automated histological procedures. The candidate will be expected to independently manage time to stay on task within deadlines and assess their own work for accuracy. Duties include but are not limited to:
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or a Biological Science; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Some positions may require compliance with current Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations.
