Responsibilities
• Investigate, estimate, evaluate, negotiate, and report property and casualty claims • Handle field activities including gathering evidence, taking statements, preparing diagrams, and making photographs • Prepare timely, clear, and concise reports to clients • Communicate with clients to ensure accurate completion of assignments • Analyze and evaluate special damages • Prepare estimates, inventories, and summaries of special damages • Negotiate and conclude claims • Analyze insurance coverage issues and make recommendations • Participate in marketing activities • Perform assigned job-related tasks
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred • Prior property and casualty claims adjusting experience required • Valid DE adjuster's license a plus • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required • Demonstrated oral and written communication, problem analysis, planning, and organizational skills required
