Inventory Control Specialist

Tri-Pac, Inc. a contract development and manufacturing company (CDMO) specializing in liquid and aerosol filling for personal care and pharmaceutical marketers, is seeking an experienced   Inventory Control Specialist   for immediate addition to our fast growing team. 

Job Description:

The Inventory Control Specialist will help create a work environment that embraces change by providing the leadership needed to implement and execute goals to meet business requirements.  He/she will lead, direct, delegate, and train Compounding Operators in the function of their jobs, ensuring that employees are following GMP standards.

Responsibilities:

• Make daily batching schedule and delegate appropriate resources to produce batches based on production schedule.
• Manage SAP inventory use and consumption, ensure accuracy of records
• Enter in SAP batches, chemicals, and adjustments
• Training employees on new SOPs, work instructions and processes
• Reviews MBR/cleaning records/batching paperwork to ensure compliance with GMP and GDP.
• Recommends changes to standard operational and working practices including providing the leadership necessary to develop and implement cross-functional team to improve aspects of operations while driving a continuous improvement culture through the use Lean/six- sigma strategies and tools.
• Educates employees and observes to ensure understanding and compliance with GMP and GDP
• Maintains records and notifies management of reoccurring issues that may require equipment replacement.
• Responsible for ensuring no mistakes or failed batches from compounding team
• Shall have an emphasis on verification of raw material weights and the accurate completions of manufacturing batch records.
• Support manufacturing/production and assure that productions schedule is met.
• Responsible for ensuring all compounding areas are clean, organized and audit ready.
• Troubleshoots and operates equipment in a way that meets safety, quality/compliance, and productivity objectives.
• Following and enforcing safety rules, regulations, and procedures.

Education and/or Experience

• Associates degree or higher (preferred but not required)
• 5 years’ experience with shipping/receiving, inventory control or warehouse
• SAP experience preferred
• Leadership roles `
