WITHIN YOUR TEAM:

X-Rite is searching for an FP&A Manager working within our Corporate FP&A team. This role is responsible for cross-functional partnership with internal stakeholders to create strategic financial insight and support decision-making processes related to Research and Development, Product Management, and Pricing. You will also work with the Corporate FP&A team with consolidation and preparation of the annual operating budget, operational reporting, and analysis of key business trends. The position will work closely with the IT and Accounting functions to participate in continuous improvement initiatives that focus on streamlining and automating existing reporting processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented self-starter who is looking to go beyond simply reporting numbers and share in the ownership of business results by using critical thinking to engage with and influence senior leaders.

This role has a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of two days per week onsite in our Grand Rapids, MI office.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Collaborate with R&D and Product Management teams to develop monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to drive financial performance
• Analyze the ROI of past and proposed initiatives
• Identify areas of pricing opportunity to drive volume and improve profitability
• Challenge existing processes, systems, reports, data analysis, and outputs and implements necessary changes to create a best in class reporting structure
• Partner with Corporate FP&A team in maintaining financial systems

• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and a command of the details
• Ability to model analytics and work with business unit leaders to act on appropriate changes
• Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and interpret business needs to define communication requirements for a variety of audiences
• Ability to navigate large data sets of data
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and reporting
• Accepts and embraces a stretch culture environment with a positive can-do attitude
• Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally in the organization

YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
• 4+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and reporting
• Experience with Oracle, OneStream, Power BI or similar software a plus (the candidate will become a subject matter expert for OneStream)

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
