Managing Director, Marketing & Society Outreach [JRP-06161]
Petree Partners is conducting a search for one of its clients who is seeking a Managing Director, Marketing & Society Outreach. In this role, you will direct, develop, implement, and facilitate marketing strategies, activities, and policies. You will play a crucial role in the promotion and advancement of our client’s mission through strategic marketing, digital strategy, and communication. The selected candidate will be an effective communicator with a positive and driven attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop global marketing strategy to maximize and monetize multi-channel marketing platforms, including digital, social, web, print, video etc.
- Develop and optimize multi-channel marketing strategies, including web, print, radio, and television
- Manage marketing team to align service offerings to align with global marketing strategy
- Define current and new target markets and analyzes Organization’s market share compared to its competitors
- Collaborate with Organization leaders to leverage successful programs, and systematize work flows to easily enable expansion in new markets
- Forecast and review marketing goals and develop and maintain budget
- Develop digital strategy to utilize advertising, social media, and engagement (in partnership with the Managing Director Global Operations)
- Manage team and outsourced marketing agency to develop collateral for tradeshows, campaigns, events, publications, and other marketing initiatives, including creating layouts and oversee releases
- Plan, evaluate, and implement membership engagement and retention programs using advertising, collateral, industry events, tradeshows, and promotions
- Direct website updates, planning, content, design, and optimization to reflect relevancy, dependability, and precision of Organization’s goals
- Analyze market trends and adjust marketing and sales strategies to meet changing market
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with demand in the marketplace for updates and new releases
- Attend yearly tradeshows (oversee organization booth design/layout, furniture orders, graphics, marketing materials, messaging, and sponsorship)
- Build meaningful connections and encourage community member engagement through marketing efforts
- Routinely present and communicate with Executive Director and Board of Directors re marketing strategies, goals, and status of efforts
- Cultivate a positive environment that empowers the team to excel
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 15 years of applied experience as a Marketing professional, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Strong skills in MS Office with emphasis on Excel
- Computer literate and able to adapt easily to different and complex computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase the effectiveness of social media campaigns
- Proven experience of project management and web design best practices
- Proven ability in planning, negotiating, organizing, and marketing
- Excellent organizational, project management, and data analysis skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred
- Trade show marketing or planning experience is preferred
- Experience with publications and press releases
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated effective follow-through skills
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and execute projects independently while meeting simultaneous deadlines of a variety of projects
