Job Description - Marketing Account Manager

What’s a typical day as a Marketing Account Manager? You’ll be:

• Renewing a recurring group of clients through proactive relationship management

. • Creating new business through organized prospecting and lead conversion.

• Managing the sales pipeline and providing accurate sales forecasts.

• Updating and maintaining CRM with personal activities and client meeting notes.

• Representing the company at industry events to engage the market and identify sales and marketing opportunities.

• Qualifying incoming leads for senior sales staff daily.

• Organizing and maintaining company-wide CRM to better inform business decisions.

• Performing usage analysis to support renewal processes.

• Supporting internal onboarding documentation and processes for new clients.

• Serving as the first point of contact for all incoming client and prospect inquiries.

• Performing additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Have a Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of business-to-business sales experience.

• Have experience in selling subscriptions and familiarity with the energy industry preferred.

• Have a proven successful track record of consultative and remote sales.

• Have strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.

• Have effective time management and are a proactive team player.

• Are a creative cross-functional collaborator who looks for opportunities to grow business and address market needs.
