Job Description - Marketing Assistant

Position Title: Marketing Assistant About Us: We are a national leader dedicated to crafting and delivering educational materials and curriculum tailored for special education classrooms. Our focus is on creating symbols, content, and curriculum using dynamic and interactive applications to engage students, teachers, and parents alike. Our materials are extensively utilized throughout the United States, with our licensable symbol set being the top choice for developing special education content. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our vibrant marketing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting various marketing initiatives aimed at promoting our products and services, enhancing brand visibility, and driving lead generation efforts. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation Support: Collaborate with the team to develop engaging marketing content, encompassing blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and website content.
Email Marketing Support: Aid in the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance monitoring.
Product Marketing Support: Work closely with the product marketing team to assist in crafting product messaging, go-to-market strategies, and competitive analyses.
Sales Support: Assist in the creation of sales materials such as presentations, case studies, and other collateral to effectively communicate the value propositions of our offerings to potential clients.
Market Research Support: Help gather and organize market research and competitive intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and industry best practices.
Event Coordination Support: Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events, including webinars, conferences, and trade shows, from logistics to promotion and post-event follow-up.
Graphic Design and Copywriting Support: Collaborate with the creative services team to produce visual assets and persuasive copy for marketing materials across various channels.
Analytics and Reporting Support: Assist in tracking and analyzing marketing campaign performance using relevant tools, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the marketing team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing marketing systems and documents. Desired Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Previous experience in marketing, communications, or related roles is required.
Strong writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot) is advantageous.
Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) are desirable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and convey insights effectively.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a knack for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Self-motivated team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on individuals with disabilities.
