Job Summary: Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Marketing & Advertising, this position is responsible for developing, coordinating, executing, and optimizing a range of marketing content for: (1) owned/personalized media (website, mobile app, digital coupons, email, social media, etc.); (2) special events and sponsorships; and (3) earned/mass media (print, outdoor, video, audio, and digital, etc.). This position will collaborate with marketing & advertising, pharmacy operations, merchandising, and media vendor(s) to support seamless marketing, communications, promotions, events, and fundraising initiatives in accordance with Kinney Drugs brand standards.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing & advertising, pharmacy operations, merchandising, IT, and media vendors to execute communications in accordance with production schedule to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Maintain proficiency in all digital interfaces (including but not limited to social media channels, email marketing platform, digital coupon platform, website CMS, in-store radio and television platform, mobile app, etc.) to help build and deploy logical cross-channel campaigns, offers, and communications.
• Help manage the design and functionality of website(s) to improve usability, design, content, etc.
• Generate content (copy and basic graphic design elements) as necessary.
• Assist in monitoring social media channels in a timely and proactive manner.
• Assist with coordination, communication, and execution of in-store events and programs as needed.
• Assist with various administrative functions as needed.
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

Required: Associate degree in Marketing or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Experience:

Required: One year of experience in a similar role . Preferred: Two or more years of related professional experience.
