Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

Job Overview:

Our client, a leader in waste equipment sales, is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative with 3-5 years of experience in sales, ideally in waste equipment or heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in direct sales or experience in selling used or rental heavy equipment. The Outside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in expanding market presence and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Sales and Business Development : Develop and execute strategies to drive sales of waste and heavy equipment. Identify and target potential clients, understanding their needs to propose effective solutions.
  2. Client Relationship Management : As a Outside Sales Representative, maintain and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and resolving any issues effectively.
  3. Market Research and Analysis : Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities. Understand industry developments to identify new sales opportunities and strategies.
  4. Achieve Sales Targets : Meet and exceed sales goals. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for consistent sales growth and revenue generation.
  5. Product Expertise : Acquire in-depth knowledge of waste and heavy equipment products. Utilize this knowledge to effectively market and sell to clients.
  6. Sales Reporting : Regularly report on sales activities, progress, and forecasts. Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales transactions.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in waste or heavy equipment sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated and driven by targets.
