Job Description - Principal Product Manager I

Principal Product Manager I

Responsible for leading the product lifecycle and development initiatives for revenue growth on our self service platforms. Works with marketing teams to understand their needs and current initiatives to define requirements and translate into the appropriate solutions for our self-service customer experiences.

Designs highly complex, cross-functional requirements to meet evolving customer needs and business opportunities. Involved in architecting innovative solutions to deliver an industry leading customer experience.

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Understand digital best practices in accessibility, usability, requirement writing, agile development, software product management, web analytics and product lifecycle management.

Bring expert knowledge of marketing functions and processes, as well as industry best practices in product development.

Works as a liaison between marketing and self-service journey teams to ensure that the needs of both are represented and addressed throughout our self-service products and journeys.

Diagnose highly complex issues and evaluates, recommends, and executes the best resolution.

Influence Charter's product set and advocates for excellence in all areas.

Evaluate proposed features and enhancements from the perspective of the digital user experience and business goals and makes decisions in the best interest of both the customer and the business.

Manage details of the development and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results.

Partner with key stakeholders in marketing to implement strategy.

Provide a data-centric perspective, using data as the driver and influencer of priority and measurements of success.

Define product goals and builds the experiments to rapidly evaluate their success.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience:  Product development/management - 6+
  • Education:  B achelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated in-depth foundation in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of digital SDLC tools such as JIRA
    • Effective business sense and sense of urgency to achieve business results
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
    • Ability to adapt to a new environment and make an impact quickly
    • Ability to manage and foster change
    • Ability to influence large, cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results
    • Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations
    • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently
    • Ability to drive multiple projects and tasks
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
    • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
    • Ability to strategize solutions based on data analysis
  • Travel Ability:  Travel as required
  • Schedule:
    • Full time
    • Office environment
    • This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Telecom experience
