Processing technician

Description:

•Assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense sterile IV doses

•Will require sterile IV preparation of hazardous and non-hazardous doses

•Receives and stocks incoming supplies

•May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders

•May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department

• Sterile compounding

• Inpatient

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Tech II or Tech III
• CPhT
• Registration with state BOP
• Sterile processing experience HIGHLY preferred (IV, chemo bags)
