B - Boldly Go H - Humble Confidence I - Inclusive Stewardship V - Value Reputation E - Extraordinary Experience Job Overview The EV Charging Program Manager works with clients and partners to provide comprehensive electric vehicle charging solutions. This role is a critical part in our Equitable Mobility Team and works closely with our Director of Mobility to deliver effective solutions to residents and businesses. This involves facilitating program launch, working with our installation and maintenance partners on delivery, training technicians and tracking key deliverables. The Electric Mobility Program Manager is responsible for maintaining customer relationships and support them in navigating technical challenges, and advocating for resolutions that provide clients, partners, and our team an extraordinary experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  • Embrace and operate within the core values
  • Maintain technical knowledge on electric vehicle infrastructure and act as the EVSE implementation Subject Matter Expert for partners and clients
  • Work closely with the Director of Mobility to develop a comprehensive understanding of the program’s strategic direction regarding energy efficiency and business activities of its customers
  • Develop distributor and sales relationship with various charger companies
  • Oversee and manage quality of service with partners undertaking installation and maintenance of EV Chargers.
  • Maintain a network of diverse suppliers and technicians in the electric mobility industry. Engage these businesses and individuals within the EV programs.
  • Maintain program reporting to measure and report on KPIs and effectively communicate program status
  • Assist clients to ensure they have the correct information and marketing materials to promote programs
  • Manage training of technicians and electricians as installers of EV Chargers
  • Manage and iterate on processes, including internal team procedures, those for participant recruitment, data analysis, and management and delivery of services
Qualifications
  • In order for us to fulfill our mission to provide an extraordinary experience every day, we require all team members to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. There are limited exceptions for those with specific religious or medical reasons.
    1. If not currently vaccinated, you must be willing to get vaccinated as a condition of employment, requiring you to get the first shot upon offer acceptance and the second shot on schedule as per CDC recommendation.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, technical account management, or a similar role in the electric mobility industry.
  • Post-secondary education in a related Business, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training
  • Network within diverse electric mobility suppliers and technicians in metro Detroit is an asset.
  • Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements
  • Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication skills and customer-focus, both in person and over web-conference.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
  • Passion for equitable clean mobility
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.
  • Able to operate effectively in time-sensitive and high-pressure situations.
  • Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.
  • A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Valid driver’s license.
Travel :
  • Willingness to travel up to 25-30% of the time.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Required to sit, stand, walk; talk and hear; and ability to touch and handle tools and/or controls
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Noise level is typically moderate
