Job Description - Quality Assurance Supervisor

The Incoming Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for organizing the efficient operation of all IQC locations resources to service production and support processes in the operation.

** Essential Job Functions

**

• Review, design and approve all Incoming Component Report

• Organization and maintenance of all Incoming Component standards in compliance with FDA regulatory

• Organization of calibration program for department instruments. Ensure these programs are completed as per in house SOP

• Introduction of new methods and any regulations applicable to testing of packaging components

• Investigation of non-conformance packaging components

• Customer and supplier liaison on quality issues

• Close liaison with production, compounding, sales and purchasing departments

• Ensure the quality system has been followed and GMP standards adhered to

• Organization and administration of training programs

• Special projects as assigned by the QA Manager

• Develop strong working relationship with cross functional departments and employees

• Ensure that tests are conducted in compliance with approved test methods, practices and procedures

• Ensure that instrument/equipment are maintained in an excellent working order and arrange maintenance, repairs, calibration, and renewal when required

• Always maintain a strong commitment to quality

** Qualifications

**

• Two-year degree or significant experience required in area of discipline
