Summary

Regional Market Sector Leaders are responsible for cultivating business opportunities within a defined region by developing and maintaining partnerships and managing client relations. A Regional Market Sector Leader:

• Works directly with multiple Business Group Directors, in multiple markets to strategize, create, and execute initiatives to position the firm to develop and maintain client relationships, develop staff, manage, and win work,
• Coaches and develops internal teams,
• May also serve as a project manager and/or project executive for selected projects managing contracts, clients, and project teams.

The position will include developing and maintaining client relationships in North Texas.

• Lead and facilitate regularly schedule meetings centered around regional market growth, client relations, performance, active projects, perspective projects and achievement of goals.
• Function as Client advocate and perform Client support and relationship responsibilities.
• Grow, develop, and build a team of direct reports, including conducting supervisory activities, staff coaching and development, communication, accountability, and growth planning.
• Provide project leadership and oversight of market sector and assist as necessary to ensure quality, efficient delivery and profitable project performance, and innovative, responsive work.
• Review project financial statistics and make necessary adjustments to ensure projected financial performance is achieved within expectations.
• Assist Project Management by monitoring and reviewing the project performance and technical quality and in contract negotiations, and scope/fee negotiations with strategic partners.

• Manage the personnel needs to meet marketing and project requirements, recruit and retain staff.

• Establish annual market goals, strategies, and tactics to compliment the firm business plan with actionable items for designated targets.
• Achieve annual growth and profit goals.

• Proven record in developing services, building, and implementing new operational, processes to improve and expand delivery.
• Support companywide initiatives for quality assurance, project management, and leadership development.

• Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
