Reporting to the AVP of HR Operations, the HR Operations Consultant will support the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in HR transformation planning by designing business processes that deliver excellence to our employees and HR team. Your core responsibilities will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping to plan and administer essential functions such as HR data management, compliance, and HR transformational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Transformation: Support HR Transformation planning initiatives to establish optimized HR processes and systems. Conduct process mapping for HR processes to visualize current and future state of work.
  • HR Data Management: Assess & define HR data management activities, including the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordination of this transition.
  • Compliance Initiatives: Conduct I-9 verification audit to ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements.
  • Record Administration: Assess & implement efficient data storage systems, ensuring the confidentiality, security, and accessibility of employee records.


Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or commensurate experience
  • Proven aptitude in HR analysis, process mapping, and change management.
  • Strong understanding of HR data management and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.


Contract Details:

  • This is a 6-month contract position
  • Open to Hartford, CT or Des Moines, IA or remote work locations
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
