General Overview:
- The Heirloom Savannah market has ~40-50 properties, most of which are single-family transient lodging: short-term rentals, hotels, motels, B&Bs, and historic Inns.
- Our hospitality locations are primarily concentrated in the downtown and historic districts of Savannah. In addition to the downtown locations, we have about 10-12 locations in the Thunderbolt/Talahi island area.
- The Market Operations Associate will work as part of our on-site property management team to keep Heirloom’s facilities in pristine condition with the intent of delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests.
- This role should expect to be physically present at the properties on a daily basis, moving throughout the market delivering supplies, completing work orders, and fulfilling restocking requests, as needed.
Essential Functions
- Retrieve deliveries from various company storage locations throughout the city, load, unload, and deliver items to various locations based on procurement/ operational processes.
- Support property operations teams with the delivery of replacement furniture and operational items. This includes the delivery of replacement items to properties.
- Maintain the housekeeping storage units in good order, inventory, and restocked as needed.
- Adhere to the company’s safety and operational protocols.
- The Market Operations Associate may be dispatched out to active properties to assist with basic operations/on-site support tasks on an as-needed basis.
- Assist with other tasks and projects, as assigned.
- Assists with the overall upkeep of the properties both interior and exterior, including but not limited to removal of excess trash/bringing it to a local dumpster or dump location.
- Assist with property walkthrough completion on an as-needed basis.
Requisites
- Prior experience using mobile applications to manage, track, and complete day-to-day work. Technology feels intuitive and not intimidating.
- Domiciled in Savannah, GA, or within reasonable commuting distance.
- This is a physically engaging role. Employees should expect to be on their feet during the vast majority of their working hours, they should be able to lift to 50-75 lbs comfortably/unassisted and should be comfortable going up and down ladders.
- Valid driver’s license and upstanding driving record.
- Access to reliable personal transportation.
- A background check will be conducted as a contingency for employment
- Prior experience working in hospitality is a plus, but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
Location: The Market Operations Associate is based in Savannah, GA. The role will be performed at Heirloom’s hospitality locations throughout the city and coastal Georgia. This role is on-site and does not have a remote work option.
Compensation: Full-time position, hourly pay, non-exempt, benefit eligible (401k, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, preferential rates for stays at Heirloom properties, sick pay, and PTO).
Schedule: Sunday- Thursday; working hours can be assigned between 9 am- 8 pm; work schedule is created based upon service business needs. The department schedule is published on a monthly basis; 5 scheduled working days, 8 hours each, and 2 scheduled off days with the opportunity for overtime based on business demands.
