The Position:

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Mortgage/Consumer Lender role based in the Kingstown, MD market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of new lenders and occasionally assisting other lenders up to their approval authority.

This position offers a generous base salary of up to $110K and an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position)

Mortgage/Consumer Lender responsibilities include:

• Originating various forms of Commercial Real Estate, Residential and Consumer loans 
• Able to underwrite and close all types of CRE, Resi, and Consumer Loans 
• Understands and abides by commercial, residential, and consumer compliance regulations
• Assist with the development of new lending programs
• Explain loan programs to clients, evaluate their needs, and recommend commercial or consumer loan products and service options
• Evaluate financial position, and originate and underwrite commercial, mortgage, and consumer loans including

• Bachelor degree required 
• A highly motivated individual, with at least 7 years of lending experience that includes auto, home equity, and unsecured lending 
• Lending experience must include a strong background with home equity and/or conventional mortgages, FHA, VA & USDA loans 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills 
• Exhibit strong relationship-building skills, including initiating and maintaining trusting relationships with our clients
• Must be registered with Nationwide Mortgage License System (NMLS) within 30 days of employment 
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
