Job Description - Operations Manager

We are a recognized leader in military and family support services, dedicated to delivering exceptional service through our talented employees. Job Title: Operations Manager (Financial Counseling and Tax Consulting) Position Overview:
We are seeking an Operations Manager passionate about providing quality service in financial counseling and tax consulting. This remote position allows flexibility to telework from any location within the United States, with occasional evening and weekend availability required. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Ensure high standards of operational performance, budget adherence, and compliance with contractual requirements. Provide recommendations to enhance contract performance and manage operational risks effectively. Team Management: Supervise and support Operations Supervisors, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed for success. Collaborate closely to address staffing needs and operational challenges promptly. Contract Oversight: Assist in the development of contractual reports and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure all operations are efficient and align with contractual obligations. Administrative Coordination: Manage corporate support functions essential for contract delivery, including Contract Administration, Finance, Human Resources, ISD, and Training. Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure service delivery excellence. Collaborate with the Program Manager to address any performance issues. Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role involves managing subordinate supervisors overseeing remote site-based employees. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance evaluation, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in social work, education, psychology, human resources management, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in social service program administration or management.
Minimum 7 years of personnel management or staff supervision experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience with government contracting and familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Experience in managing contact center operations and leading geographically dispersed teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent communication skills.
US Citizenship and ability to pass background and security checks.
Preferred Qualifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification.
Experience with Federal government contracting or business development.
Familiarity with military quality of life programs or behavioral health services.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
Effective oral and written communication abilities.
Professional demeanor under pressure and commitment to high ethical standards.
