Job Description - Sales Manager - Southwest US

JOB DESCRIPTION Fiber Glass Systems, a business under NOV is hiring a Territory Sales Representative (TSR). Rep responsible for generating profitable sales growth for underground and aboveground petroleum and water products in the Southern US territory. Responsible for servicing existing accounts, establishing new accounts, and maximizing customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates must live within Phoenix, Arizona area. Job Description:
  • Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with customers by providing technical assistance, entertaining, and frequent personal contact with customers' upper-level management.
  • Develops and presents proposals to customers to solicit sales of Fiber Glass Systems products.
  • Provides technical guidance and sales support whenever necessary.
  • Prepares forecast and budget for territory and monitors progress on a regular basis.
  • Stays abreast of competitors' products and services and assists in developing market and pricing strategy.
  • Assists in preparing job specifications and in making presentations to various industrial, governmental, and code officials.
Job Requirements:
  • Work may require evening and weekend work
  • Previous Management experience
  • Previous customer-facing experience
  • Candidate must be able to work independently in a home-based office, as the schedule is fully remote.
  • Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to provide group presentations in a seminar environment.
  • Significant domestic travel is required.
  • Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Valid US driver's license and safe driving history
  • Overnight Travel required
Skills/Experience:
  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of experience in professional and technical sales working with Engineers, Architects, and Owners.
  • Knowledge of the downstream petroleum industry is preferred.
  • General understanding of how environmental regulations are enforced in the petroleum and water markets.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
  • Requires good organizational and computer skills to prepare presentations, maintain customer files, prepare management reports, and maintain accurate records.
