JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary As a part of the Claims Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst's responsibilities include financial planning and analysis for the North America Claim organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare financial reports, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. In this role, you will interact with a diverse group of internal personnel, including other financial analysts, divisional leadership, and functional staff to interpret financial data and operational performance. This role requires a combination of financial acumen, analytical skills, and effective collaboration to contribute to the financial success of the claim's organization.
Responsibilities - Lead the development of the Chubb North America Claims Annual Operating Plan Process.
- Analyze claims data, review financial performance, and prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting key trends, variances, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with claims professionals and other departments to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making within the claims organization.
- Monitor the claims budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and addressing any discrepancies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, share financial insights, and contribute to a cohesive organizational financial strategy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the claim's financial operations, optimizing efficiency and accuracy.
- Assess financial risks within the claims organization, providing recommendations to mitigate potential issues and enhance overall financial resilience.
- Effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of the financial landscape with the claims organization
- Stay informed about industry development, market trends, and emerging best practices in claims financial analysis to continually enhance expertise.
